Victoria Lancaster is a strategic operations leader advancing institutional effectiveness and organizational transformation at the University of Pittsburgh. As Assistant Vice Chancellor for Operational Excellence, she leads initiatives aligned with the Plan for Pitt 2028, helping units across the University enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and drive operational improvements.
Victoria serves as the University's AI business process owner and leads the Staff AI Community of Practice, equipping administrative staff with practical AI skills and guiding Pitt's administrative workforce into the future of work. Her work spans AI governance, use case development, and change management.
She brings nearly 25 years of higher education experience to her role, joining Pitt in 2014 after serving at Carnegie Mellon University, with progressive responsibility across the Office of the Provost, Human Resources, and Business and Operations. She holds an MBA from Chatham University, a business degree from Westminster College, and is a Certified Change Manager.
